The Lexus NX 200t at Stevinson Lexus of Frederick

Overview

The Lexus NX 200t is a smaller crossover that slots below the RX, offering sporty maneuverability with a spacious interior and exceptional comfort. With its razor-sharp styling, the NX is hard to miss in even the most crowded of parking lots. With a turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain and the latest tech, though, it’s much more than a pretty face.

The 2017 Lexus NX 200t is a five-door, five-seat crossover with a base price of $35,285.* The NX is also available in a hybrid version, the NX 300h, which is reviewed separately. Standard equipment includes a rearview camera, automatic dual-zone climate control, Lexus Display Audio with 7-inch screen, eight-speaker sound system, and the new-for-2017 Scout GPS Link navigation app with smartphone connectivity.

The Perfect Ride for…

SUV drivers who appreciate the finer things in life and want to make a bold first impression. The Lexus NX 200t has dynamic styling, a high-quality interior, and roomy backseat. This sporty luxury SUV has all the hallmarks of its larger Lexus siblings with a unique attitude all its own.

Drive & Handling

The Lexus NX 200t features the brand’s first-ever turbocharged engine. This 2.0-liter, four-cylinder unit produces 235 hp and 258 pound-feet of torque, and is mated to a six-speed automatic with standard front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. There’s also an F Sport model with some performance upgrades like sport-tuned suspension and paddle shifters.

The front-wheel drive NX 200t does 0 to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds, while the all-wheel drive model does it in 7 seconds flat. Both versions are electronically limited to 124 mph.

The small-displacement engine is also fairly fuel-efficient, with gas-mileage ratings of 25 mpg combined (22 mpg city, 28 mpg highway) with front-wheel drive, and 24 mpg combined (22 mpg city, 28 mpg highway) with all-wheel drive.** The all-wheel-drive-only F Sport model loses 1 mpg in the highway category.

Key Features

Remote Touchpad
