The RX, CT, & NX Make Top 10 for Most Reliable Cars

We're always a proud to be a part of the Lexus name and community, but months like this are what refuels our engines, so to speak. Lexus stormed the competition in customer satisfaction surveys this year, earning the 2017 Driver Power Award! It's such an honor to be recognized as the best car manufacturer in the annual Auto Express Driver Power Survey, finishing first in the engine and transmission category. The Driver Power Survey polled almost 50,000 vehicle owners for information about 150 different cars.

"To be crowned best of all, a manufacturer can’t afford any big slip-ups. And no other maker mastered the task as well as Lexus, which topped this year’s survey thanks to excellent results across every one of the categories we investigated, finishing with an overall satisfaction score of 92.29 percent.
 Highlights included first place finishes in several areas. Owners found Lexus’ petrol-only and hybrid powertrains quiet and refined, rating the brand first in the engine category. Styling and exterior looks were another area where the brand trumped rivals, with futuristic models like the RX and NX SUVs helping Lexus score a coveted first place for exterior design." - AutoExpress.co.uk

The 2017 Driver Power Car Customer Satisfaction Survey took into account which cars, across all manufacturers, are the most reliable. In addition to being named the Best Manufacturer in 2017's Auto Express Driver Power Survey, not one, not two, but three Lexus models placed on Driver Power's Most Reliable list. 



The first of the three Lexus models to be named on their 2017 Top 10 Most Reliable Cars is the mid-sized SUV, the NX. Coming in at number 9 on the list, the NX is praised for its continued popularity since its launch in 2014, and its availability in both gas-powered and hybrid powertrains.

We jump up to number 7 on the list, the Lexus CT, that "puts Lexus’ hybrid powertrain technology into a family hatchback body and delivers first-rate fuel economy." CT200h customers have been extremely pleased with the reliability and quality of the CT's build, with only 2% of owners reporting any problems with the car. 

Finally, number 5 on Drive Power's 2017 Top 10 Most Reliable Car is the Lexus RX. This BIG SUV "actually placed third overall in this year’s Driver Power with its hushed driving experience and economical running costs counting in its favor."
